Accessing Libraries Online

The Public Library of South Australia has a One Card system. This means that you can use your library card at any library in South Australia. It also means that you can access books from another library through putting a hold on the item.

To access the library catalogue from home, click on the image to left. This will take you to Libraries SA catalogue, where you will be able to search for items and place them on hold. You will need your library card to do this.

Another way to access Public Library catalogue and other things is through the Libraries SA app. For further information, see below.

The Libraries SA app is your very own 24/7 virtual public library service in the palm of your hand! Features include: search and place a hold on items, scan a barcode, view your checkouts and holds, access the OneCard Digital Library, view current library activities, interactive Google map to the nearest library, your library barcode plus more. Available for download now on the Apple App store or Google Play. Visit www.libraries.sa.gov.au/app or your local public library for more information.
